To many people the place where they live is home. They have been there so long that they tend to take it for granted and as a result they often forget just how lucky they actually are. It is good for them, every once in a while to step back and look at things with another perspective so they can get back in line with the world the way that it actually is.

Trust me when I tell you that someone that is trying to move to this country and is dealing with the hardships and rigors of going through the USA Immigration system and spending lots of time laboring over the USCIS Forms to obtain their US Visas, these folks all know just how important and how precious citizenship in the United States of America can be. In fact, if the people that lived here by right of birth actually had to go through the same process as the illegal aliens, there is a good chance that many of them would be deported. That is because we learn to take things for granted.

As sad as it is there are actually a lot of people who were born here in the United States of America that can’t even pinpoint the states in this country and give you the correct names. That is a sad but true fact that shows just how much for granted we take it and how much for granted the school system is that they no longer actually seem to teach that basic geography lesson.

So if an illegal immigrant is getting his or her US Visa by going through the USA Immigration system and filling in all of the USCIS forms, then why do we not hold the current, born and raised citizens to the same standard? This could well be because there are certain privileges that we enjoy as natural born members of this country. One of those rights it’s that you remain a citizen no matter how far off base you are in knowledge. That is part of the freedom that we enjoy and part of why people want to move here.

People come from all over the world to make this country their home even though they are well aware of how difficult it is to do. They know that they will have to spend a great deal of money and learn a lot of information for the privilege of being here legally. They are aware that just applying for entrance does not mean that they will be able to live here. They know that calling America home comes with a price tag.

To those people born here it is a God given right to be able to stay home. But to the millions that wand to move here getting a US Visa by going through the USA Immigration process and dealing with seemingly mile after mile of USCIS forms might seem hard but to some it is just the road map home.
